Flytech Technology (6206.TW) is redefining smart edge terminal applications through its strategic transition into a solutions and services provider, a pivot that is now yielding significant financial returns. Flytech has successfully expanded its product portfolio from traditional front-end POS and self-service kiosks into back-end Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) and powerful computing Box PCs. Simultaneously, the company has integrated AI software and edge computing applications through its software subsidiaries. This year, Flytech officially entered the payment market, a move that continues to drive average selling prices (ASP) and higher product value additions. Driven by strong US tier-one shipments of new Payment POS products and robust growth from European subsidiary, BOXTEC, Flytech’s May 2026 consolidated revenue topped NT$630 million, a 45% YoY surge that marked a historic second-high for the period. Cumulative consolidated revenue from January to May reached NT$2.78 billion, a 24% YoY increase.
At last week’s COMPUTEX 2026, Flytech debuted its brand-new Payment Solution in Taiwan, showcasing an extensive lineup that includes POS terminals, self-service kiosks, and handheld payment devices designed to meet diverse payment scenarios in retail and hospitality. The new offerings support SoftPOS and scan functionalities, enabling contactless payments directly through NFC screens. It also integrates advanced hybrid payment modules fully compatible with international market demands for tap, scan, insert, and swipe payments, delivering highly flexible, streamlined, and lightweight payment endpoints. Amid global labor shortages driving a massive wave of automation and unmanned operations, retailors now consider stable "on-premise computing power" capable of running complex, diverse software seamlessly even during internet outages an operational necessity. Leveraging its agile hardware design and customization capabilities, Flytech is rapidly capitalizing on this widespread computing upgrade cycle.
The core of Flytech's "All-Scenario Penetration" strategy lies in expanding the total hardware and computing allocation per site. By integrating its diverse hardware portfolio with subsidiary Inefi’s UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) software platform, Flytech delivers stable on-premise computing across multiple sites and diverse scenarios. Concurrently, the company collaborates with its subsidiaries, Berry AI and Angible, to deploy advanced Vision AI applications, showcasing its total solution capabilities spanning smart edge manufacturing, edge computing supply, and AI software applications. This strategic framework not only deepens penetration within existing client networks but also serves as a critical growth engine for Flytech to capture new global clients and expand its international market share, injecting long-term optimization momentum into its product mix and profitability structure.
